Lord Blackburn's Pair of Alpacas

Blackies turn! I drew the alpaca for him a couple years ago, never got to making the actual shirt. Until now.

For the Twins!

Okay, it took over a year, but I finally settled on a design for long enough to make it happen. This is my fourth pair of shirts for those kids, I'm terrible! Sorry Ben, got there in the end.

The theory behind these is that their personalities are quite different apparently, one placid, one... mildly acerbic? 'Pickley' I was told. So seperately, these t-shirts show that, together they look perturbed. I started them at home, finished them both in the pub whilst watching the Rugby, got a few odd looks and the manager asked if I wanted an rocking chair. Good times.

Finally Got That Film Processed...

This is our street in the snow : ) I bought this camera for £2 at the op shop (pattern developing there...) and they said they'd had a 'camera guy' have a look at it and it was 'broken', which is why it was cheap. They figured someone who knew how to fix cameras might be able to, well, fix it. So I'm standing there, playing with it, and I notice the door on the back where you put the film in doesn't shut properly. And I think, "surely not... that can't be the only thing wrong with it, you could fix that with tape!" So I bought it and fixed it with tape. And it works, and it's awesome.

The Peacock Skirt -> Dress

So, this is/was a skirt I found in the op shop for £2 and totally fell in love with. The fabirc is DEVINE. However, the skirt was TINY. Like, tiny little emaciated child tiny. So... I made a small alteration. It's now a dress. I'm not totally sure about the halter, the gold cord isn't the most comfortable, I may change it to a nice brown satin ribbon, and match the sash to that... maybe. Hopefully.

Bracelet of Quite Massive Proportions

Was looking through Kerry's photo album, 'Things I Like' on facebook and felt all crafty afterwards, I MUST make an album of things I like. I have so much crap round here in physical form, but I never really clicked I could also have a digital version of an art journal. Duh. Anyway, this is what a bit of inspiration and America's Next Top Model will do:

It's huge, like, almost stupidly big and bulky, and I don't know what yone would ever be able to wear with it, would def have to be brown or grey or maaaaybe black, but even then. I dunno. It will look even bigger on Kerry's delicate little wrist, I'm thinking maybe I deconstruct it, chalk this one up to experience and try again later?
